Young At Heart is a wonderful ministry where elders of the St. Felicitas community and the surrounding areas gather for lunch every first Wednesday of the month. Young At Heart helps to connect and build up the living church among us by providing opportunities for elders to get out of their homes and come to the GYM of St. Felicitas for a social luncheon. It is a joyful and fulfilling experience for the elders to have a chance to make new friends, share their joys and sorrows, and receive encouragement and support from one another in the struggles of this journey of life. At the gathering, we enjoy the youthfulness, enthusiasm, and joy of our 8th grade serving us, as well as the entertainment of students from St. Felicitas School. We also have many adult volunteers to help set the tables, cook, prepare, dish up, and finally clean up after the gathering. We do this ministry to create a loving and caring spirit within our community.
