Are you interested in being an altar server at St. Felicitas Catholic Church? Altar servers assist the Priest in the celebration of the Mass so that the liturgy can be conducted with grace and reverence. Servers assist at weekend Masses and occasionally at funerals, and other special liturgies. During the liturgy, servers assist the celebrant at the chair and at the altar by setting the altar, lighting the candles, carrying the processional cross, carrying the incense, holding the books, and various other tasks. With devotion and respect altar servers perform their duties so as to reflect the true presence of Christ at the Mass. By fulfilling in this very important role during Mass, altar servers answer their call to be good stewards by giving their time and talent back to God. This ministry is open to all interested students from 5th grade and above. There will be training sessions for new candidates.
