Faith Formation Program
The Faith Formation Program of St. Felicitas Catholic Parish will provide each child in grade 1st-8th with the values of the Gospel as proclaimed by Jesus Christ and will hand down the traditions of the Catholic Faith through a catechetical curriculum that has been both inspired by the spirit of Vatican II and authorized by the Bishop of the Diocese of Oakland. This curriculum will complement the journey of faith of each child according to their psychological, emotional, and spiritual development.
Sacramental Preparation
First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion
To share in communion for the first time, children must have “sufficient knowledge and careful preparation so as to understand the mystery of Christ according to their capacity” (Code of Canon Law 913). They must also be able to receive communion “with faith and devotion” (913).
Our Sacramental preparation program is a 2-year program.
We offer classes on Sunday mornings from 9:15 a.m. – 10:15 a.m.
